Long-term and accumulated stress will make ones' body become toxic and ultimately it could cause heart and pulminory diseases.
I hope our doctors in Malaysia could also be trained on that so that children do not suffer a life-long illness. As MH practitioner, I believe early intervention with the right modality is utmost priority when helping children experienced adverse trauma such as abuse, neglect, and violence of other sorts.
